Description of SMS Program and Messaging Use Cases

Avant Garde Theatre of Dance offers a text messaging (SMS) program for students, parents/guardians, leads, and customers who opt in to receive messages. Messages are sent both automatically and directly by our staff through our customer-communication platform, Follow Up Ninja, acting on our behalf. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from us for purposes that may include:

• class registration, enrollment, and account updates;
• schedule changes, class reminders, and event announcements;
• payment and billing notifications;
• responses to your inquiries and customer support; and
• occasional promotions, offers, and studio news.

Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrolling in classes or making any purchase.

Age Restriction (18+)

You must be at least 18 years of age to opt in to and participate in our SMS program. By opting in, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and that you are the subscriber or account holder of the mobile number provided, or that you have the account holder’s permission to enroll that number. Class registration and enrollment for minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.

Instructions to Opt-Out (Text STOP)

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you send the word STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending SMS messages to your number. If you wish to opt back in, you can sign up again the same way you did originally, or contact us. You may also reply HELP at any time for assistance.

Disclosures for Message/Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received, depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Message frequency varies. Avant Garde Theatre of Dance is not responsible for any charges, fees, or costs you may incur from your wireless carrier as a result of participating in the SMS program. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your messaging and data plan.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and to other factors outside of our control, and message delivery is not guaranteed.
